As an electric ice and snow melting system for open spaces with a rated power of 300W/m², the frost protection mat ensures safe movement for people and vehicles in private and public areas by preventing ice and snow formations on e.g. driveways, walkways or car parks.
The snow melting mat consists of a flexible net on which a snow melting cable is evenly fixed. The snow melting mat consists of a resistance heating element insulated with a cross-linked polymer material that has a high temperature resistance, making the heating cable completely safe. A metal sheath with 100% coverage provides additional mechanical strength and extremely low electromagnetic radiation.
